Happy Independence Day - SVG 🇻🇨

Salute to the nation of St. Vincent & the Grenadines HAPPY 44th INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY to St. Vincent & the Grenadines, which celebrates today the 27th day of October, 2023.  The word independence means - the fact and state of being independent or self governed. St. Vincentians have come a long way since their fight for independence. It is a happy time for the government and the people and we pray that they will celebrate well.  Prayer for the nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines : Dear Heavenly Father,  We thank You for the beautiful Caribbean isle of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. We thank You for creating our island and for giving us the chance to live on it. We thank You for Your protection from day one, up to our present day and for the protection that You will continue to give to all who live and dwell on this beautiful archipelago. We are conscious of the care and love that You have poured upon us LORD, in the way that You have not allowed our nation to fall ap

If You Want To Be A Friend of Jesus

Image
Do you want to be a friend and follower of Jesus? If you do, you can speak to Him right now by praying the prayer below:  Dear Jesus, I want to be your friend and follower. I know that I have made wrong choices and have done sinful things. I'm sorry; I do not want to live in the lifestyle of sin anymore. Will you please forgive me and help me to change my ways. Lord Jesus, I believe that You are God's begotten son and that You came in the flesh on our earth to die and take the punishment of sin for all mankind. I also believe that God raised You back to life from the dead, hell and the grave and I'm so thankful that You chose to make such a sacrifice for me. I know that I do not have what it takes to cleanse myself from sin nor do I have what it takes to free me from the yoke and bondage of darkness. But I believe that You Jesus have what it takes to set me free and I will trust in You from this day onwards to lead me, guide me and walk with me on the path of righteousness

They will know

John 13:34-35 What a beautiful scripture to meditate upon at the beginning of this New Year of 2023. We are encouraged to look at a few things that are necessary and important for every Jesus believer to note, especially those who follow whole-heartedly after the word of truth bound upon their necks and written in their hearts.   John 13:34-35  👇🏼 34: "I am giving you a new commandment that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another.  35: By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you have love and unselfish concern for one another." Here are some questions that you may have asked yourself after reading the above-mentioned Scripture Verses. The answers are provided beside the questions for your understanding.  Who will know? Everyone.  What will they know? That you are His disciples.  How will they know? If you have love and unselfish concern for one another.  We Understand and Take Note of the Following:- 'Everyone&#

First Night of the Seven (7) Nights of Christmas and Carols COGOP SVG

Image
Seven (7) Nights of Christmas and Carols functioned under the theme 'Peace and Reconciliation this Christmas' from the desk of the District Youth Director at Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP), SVG.  Here is a look at New Creation Ministries COGOP Youth Ministry's Night of Christmas and Carols presentation.  CLICK ON THE LINK  to view the program:-  First Night of the Seven (7) Nights of Christmas and Carols COGOP SVG   It was indeed a peaceful and awesome time of reconciling with the One who died for us and reconciled us back to the Father. His death, burial and resurrection is the ultimate path to redeeming us from a life of sin and we recognise that it was the reason He was born into our sinful world. We are grateful and so thankful that He chose us to be His people. Although majority of the world use Christmas as a time to celebrate themselves with extra special gifts, revelry and shopaholic activities. Christmas season for a believer of Jesus is more about celebrating H

Christmas

The following is a message that was preached on Sunday 25th day of December, 2022 at the New Creation Ministries COGOP in Biabou, SVG. Nikisha Ollivierre was the presenter of this message and is Youth Leader at that Assembly. May God bless you all as you read and understand the words of this message.    Presenter / Speaker: Nikisha Ollivierre   I will begin this message with an excerpt from a website named Newsweek. First of all, I asked myself “Where did Christmas come from?” or perhaps, “When did it begin?” and so I went to my browser and typed the question into the search bar. This is the answer I got from the website: “Church officials started celebrating Jesus’ birth in the fourth century, according to History.com and Pope Julius 1 chose December 25. The Bible doesn’t mention the date of Jesus’ birth and there’s debate as to when it actually took place. Some point to the shepherd’s presence to argue that it was likely spring since that’s when they herd, and others claim the stars

It's Time To Rebuild

Image
It's time to rebuild is the theme from a Women's Ministries Convention held on October, 2022.  Below is an exhortation / encouragement to all women and any individual who come across this post. I pray that the eyes of your heart will be opened to understand these words and follow through with whatever the Spirit of the LORD will say unto you.  Nehemiah 2:17 This theme is extraordinary in that it is given at such a time as this when our lives, family, nation and communities are at crossroads while some are either at a standstill or going on a steady decline. In order for a rebuilding to take place there must have been a destruction, a disaster, catastrophe or any other peril so grave that removed or overturned the good and proper systems of existence. Not much is being said about the roles that we need to play or the responsibilities that we need to take in order to save our world. Some persons have already concluded that our world does not need saving, their solution instead i

Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory

This beautiful Hymn is one of my favourite hymns. It was written and arranged musically by B.E. Warren in the 20th Century. This hymn is about our Christian life and for those who know the lyrics may this song bring joy to your hearts and spirit as you sing and enjoy the presence of the Lord in worship.  1. I have found His grace is all complete, He supplieth every need; While I sit and learn at Jesus' feet, I am free, yes free indeed. 2. I have found the pleasure I once craved, It is joy and peace within; What a wondrous blessing I am saved from the awful gulf of sin . Chorus: It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, full of glory, full of glory; It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Oh the half has never yet been told. 3. I have found that hope so bright and clear, living in the realm of grace; Oh the Saviour's presence is so near, I can see His smiling face. 4.  I have found the joy no tongue can tell, How its waves of glory roll! It is like a great o'er flowing well,

Do You Know The Power of the Blood of Jesus?

SONG:- There is Power in the Blood (Hymn)  1. Would you be free from the burden of sin? There's pow'r in the blood, pow'r in the blood; Would you o'er evil a victory win? There's wonderful pow'r in the blood.  Chorus: There is pow'r, pow'r, wonder-working pow'r in the blood of the lamb; There is pow'r, pow'r wonder-working pow'r in the precious blood of the lamb.  2. Would you be free from your passion and pride? There's pow'r in the blood, pow'r in the blood; Come for a cleansing to Calvary's tide; There's wonderful pow'r in the blood.  3. Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow? There's pow'r in the blood, pow'r in the blood; Sin stains are lost in its life giving flow; There's wonderful pow'r in the blood.  4. Would you do service for Jesus your King? There's pow'r in the blood, pow'r in the blood; Would you live daily His praises to sing? There's wonderful pow'r i

1st day of the Week in Worship

Heavenly Father, hallowed be Your name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us on this day to come into Your presence with thanksgiving and to join other fellow believers in hymns of praise and adoration. As we kneel before You our Maker, give us joy in worship and help us to declare before all the people that You are the mighty and forgiving God. Help us to give You all the glory and all the honor that is due to Your most Holy name. We pray God that You will accept the offerings of our hands and use our gifts in the service of our congregation and of Your church everywhere.  Fill our Pastors and Church leaders with a rich measure of Your grace. Help them to speak Your word courageously and convincingly, so that the hearts of the hearers may be drawn closer to You. Help Your servants to speak with power as You send Your Holy Spirit into the hearts of people everywhere so that men will hear and believe. We pray that every heart that hears Your spoken Wor
