Happy Independence Day - SVG 🇻🇨

Salute to the nation of St. Vincent & the Grenadines HAPPY 44th INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY to St. Vincent & the Grenadines, which celebrates today the 27th day of October, 2023.  The word independence means - the fact and state of being independent or self governed. St. Vincentians have come a long way since their fight for independence. It is a happy time for the government and the people and we pray that they will celebrate well.  Prayer for the nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines : Dear Heavenly Father,  We thank You for the beautiful Caribbean isle of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. We thank You for creating our island and for giving us the chance to live on it. We thank You for Your protection from day one, up to our present day and for the protection that You will continue to give to all who live and dwell on this beautiful archipelago. We are conscious of the care and love that You have poured upon us LORD, in the way that You have not allowed our nation to fall ap

'The Thing Is... Choices'

With all the talk and highlights about homosexuality/lesbianism etc in the media and society on a whole, one thing stirs within me and that I would like to know. Which being in this universe was given all power to change the laws of the Almighty God Elohim and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour to suit and compromise with the natural desires of man? And if there is such a being, which historic day in this universe was that change made? It would be nice if someone can give the answer to these questions but as far as the knowledge that was made available to me from the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT goes, no mention was made of such a thing happening on this planet/universe. However, the Written Word of God made it clear to me that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is [always] the same, yesterday, today and forever. A clear indication that the Word of God has not changed at all, neither will it change. Additional Resources: Joh

Lord! A Prayer of Supplication

Lord guide our footsteps so that we'll remain on the right path... The road gets rough and bumpy at times and other paths seem less strenuous from time to time.... Help us not to slip or slide into the wages of sin or the traps and snares that have been covered up and hidden from us. Lord we need Your direction in our heart and mind least our soul run aground from the pounding of the overwhelming waves of life.... Help our decisions to be stable and righteous, for it is not our desire to be like a yo-yo in the hands of our adversary. Lord keep our tongue from speaking evil and our lips from speaking guile.... in the midst of anger, temper flares up and who knows the agitation that pushes scorn to burn an entire field to the ground... Help us to bridle this member and to saddle it in place with Your words. Lord we need you to dwell in us each day.. make a home of constant habitation from the corners of our life to the depths of our being... because a day without You is a flat day

Ultimate Sacrifice

It is good for you to remember, if you sit feeling sorry for yourself because you are not indulging in tasty pleasures at this time, that your sacrifice is not really so great when you compare it to the many sacrifices that Christ made. What you are doing is indeed a sacrifice, but it is more for self rather than for others. Jesus Christ sacrificed for us in order that we might enjoy life to the fullest. Let us learn from the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus and remember that He has given us the power to overcome any temptation that might present itself. Think Zone: Jesus Christ has conquered temptation and He will be with me according to His word! 1 Peter 2:21-24 21: For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow His steps: 22: who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth: 23: who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered threatened not; but committed [Himself] to Him that judgeth righteously:

The Strong Tower

The name of the Lord is always a strong and safe place to run to when the journey of life gets overwhelming and tiring. We can find rest at the mention of His name. The comfort and assurance He gives in those moments refreshes us so that we can continue forward. 'The Name of The Lord Is A Strong Tower', is a beautiful song that gives voice to our thoughts of how wonderful His name is. The Name of The Lord Is A Strong Tower Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be the name of the Lord Most High Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be the name of the Lord Most High The name of the Lord is a strong tower The righteous run into it and they are saved The name of the Lord is a strong tower The righteous run into it and they are saved Jesus is the name of the Lord Jesus is the name of the Lord Jesus is the name of the Lord Most High Jesus is the name of the Lord Jesus is the name of the Lord Jesus is

Peace or Addiction

When some of us get hungry, we get nervous and anxious. We find that we snap at people and have a very short temper. This is an indication that food is more than just a pleasure; it is an addiction. To kick an addiction requires restraint and peace. Jesus Christ promises blessed peace and rest to all who come to Him. It is important for us to rely on the gentle comfort of God when we face the trials of dieting. God knows what we are going through and He rejoices when we turn to Him for peace of mind and heart. It is not vital that we understand how this peace can come to us. What is important is that we truly believe God will grant it. Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. In God, there is peace that is greater than the turmoil caused by dieting. This peace is also greater than any addiction and He has the power to break and dispel the bondages of our soul. Emotional turmoil is the biggest link to
