Happy Independence Day - SVG 🇻🇨

Salute to the nation of St. Vincent & the Grenadines HAPPY 44th INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY to St. Vincent & the Grenadines, which celebrates today the 27th day of October, 2023.  The word independence means - the fact and state of being independent or self governed. St. Vincentians have come a long way since their fight for independence. It is a happy time for the government and the people and we pray that they will celebrate well.  Prayer for the nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines : Dear Heavenly Father,  We thank You for the beautiful Caribbean isle of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. We thank You for creating our island and for giving us the chance to live on it. We thank You for Your protection from day one, up to our present day and for the protection that You will continue to give to all who live and dwell on this beautiful archipelago. Favorite Scripture Verses

Greetings to everyone and welcome to my favorite scripture verses page. Every believer can testify that without certain scripture verses they would not have been able to make it through the day or even survive the weeks. Some experiences in life warrant a special kind of grace to cope or function and so it's necessary to continuously have the word of God on our lips and in our hearts to fight the good fight of our faith. Certain bible verses are well equiped with the right parts of speech to impact our realms and to either correct, rebuke and encourage us to become built up and functioning effectively the way God designed us to be. Songs and Hymns are great to have around any believer especially for worship but it's the Word of God that we need to have on our tongue as it is our sword of the Spirit.

This page is dedicated to specific Bible verses that have carried me throughout the years of my relationship with God. Some of these verses come from well-known chapters that quite a number of persons are familiar with. I pray that you will be blessed and reminded of some of these scripture verses once again and that you can also use some of these verses to be your favorites in time of need. 


2 Timothy 2:15 - "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." (NIV) 

- "Be diligent to present yourself approved unto God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (NKJV)

- "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (KJV)


Hebrews 13:7 - "Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith." (NIV)

- "Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct." (NKJV)


Hebrews 13:8 - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (NIV)

- "Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever." (AMP)


Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (NKJV)

- "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (NIV)


Galatians 3:13 - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole." (NIV)

- But by becoming a curse for us Christ has redeemed us from the curse that the Law brings; for the scripture says, "Anyone who is hanged on a tree is under God's curse." (GNT)


Galatians 3:24 - "And so the Law was in charge of us until Christ came, in order that we might then be put right with God through faith." (GNT)

- "So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith." (NIV)


Galatians 3:28 - "So there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesus." (GNT)

- "There is neither Jew not Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (NIV)


Galatians 3:29 - "If you belong to Christ, then you are the descendants of Abraham and will receive what God has promised." (GNT)

- "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." (NIV)


Galatians 4:7 - "So you are no longer a slave but God's child; and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir." (NIV)

- "Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." (NKJV)


Galatians 4:31 - "Therefore, brothers and sisters we are not children of the slave woman but of the free woman." (NIV)

- "So then brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free." (NKJV)


Galatians 5:1 - "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." (NKJV)

- "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then and do not let yourselves be burdened again again by a yoke of slavery." (NIV)


Galatians 5:14 - For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "ILove your neighbor as yourself." (NIV)

- For the whole Law is summed up in one commandment: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." (GNT)


Galatians 5:16 - "I say then: Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." (NKJV)

- "So I say walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." (NIV)


Galatians 5:24 - "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." (NIV)

- "And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites." (AMP)
